Entitled ‘ITI_02 THE CYCLIST (lenticular)’ this Dimensional Edition is the second in a series of ‘Industrial Technology Issues’, in which Neate uses tehnological processes to create accessible ‘mass produced’ limited editions.
THE CYCLIST (lenticular) is unusual in that it has been painstakingly created from two original paintings by ADAM NEATE, resulting in a ‘looping animation’. The ‘animated’ figure depicts a cyclist powerfully shifting his weight from one pedal to the other, interspersed with a transitional layer of Neate’s graphic animation.
Neate’s fascination for technological processes has resulted in him using the properties of lenticular to enhance his original artworks.
This Dimensional Edition, a ready to hang ‘art product’ comes in a bespoke John Jones black wooden frame, glazed with UV protective perspex.
Each work has a numbered and signed label affixed on the reverse, with an exclusive Elms Lesters pewter authentication label, and is accompanied by a certificate of provenance.
Packaged in a custom-made, export strength box, these editions are available to be shipped worldwide.
