This cardboard portrait was was one of a series that Adam Neate painted during one of his extended stays in Sao Paulo.
The abstract shapes cut and layered from the Brazilian box, with it’s lettering ‘Cuidado Frágil’ (fragile – with care) create a tension and sense of unease.
This painting was exhibited at Elms Lesters Painting Rooms in 2008 at the Adam and Ron Show
