This important painting was a break through for Neate and was the first of his portraits to incorporate various mediums including metals and perpsex and was the forerunner of his later infamous ‘FLOCK SERIES’
The shadows, highlights, brush work, and use of bold colours gives the startling impression of movement.
This painting is now in an important private collection in Singapore.
