ADAM NEATE RED PORTRAIT with MOVEMENT ELMS LESTERS

A stunning large self portrait, which used the fluid lines of the bent perspex with twisted metals and bold paint splashes to depict the thrashing, shaking head, whilst a subtle blend of painterly brushstrokes on the torso, through which the texture of the canvas can be seen, gives a sense of stature, strength and boldness.

In 2013, a DIMENSIONAL EDITION® based on this original painting (which is now in a collection in Indonesia) was published by Elms Lesters.

A limited number of this Dimensional Edition, of 55 pieces, entitled ‘Red Portrait-Movement’ is available from the gallery: more information can be found here
