For this work Neate took the essence of his previous CONCERT PIANIST 2009, which was exhibited in ' A NEW UNDERSTANDING' which used a variety of mediums and found and sourced objects.
He set out to paint an expressionistic version using just various paint mediums on canvas which still retained the movement and vitality and vigour of the previous one.
The hands blur, the head stoops ; the energy is palpable.
