In September 2005, we were honoured to host ‘THE ART OF BREAKING’ an exhibition to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the PS2 B-Boy Championships.
The exhibition was a multi-media extravaganza, bringing together the four elements of Hip Hop culture: B-Boying, DJing, MCing and Graffiti Art and featured new works by MODE 2, TUFF TIM TWIST, EAST 3, PRES, ETCH, DUCE
The artists were also commissioned to collaboratively paint two large scale works in the paint frames at Elms Lesters which were displayed during the exhibition, before making their way to Brixton Academy for the 10th B-Boy Championships in October that year.
